As part of the WFB family of organizations, the University maintains close working relationships with other WFB headquarters and its regional centres, programmes, commissions, funds and convention secretariats.

History

The World Buddhist University (WBU) was established as part of the World Fellowship of Buddhists (WFB) family of organizations. Since its inception, WBU has played a crucial role in coordinating Buddhist educational institutions worldwide.

As a university without walls, WBU bridges geographical boundaries to promote Buddhist teachings and cultural exchange. Through collaboration with WFB and its regional centres, we advance Buddhist education in the context of globalization while preserving traditional wisdom.
